Guided by a new strategic plan, Seeds Canada is focused on strengthening advocacy, enhancing member and client value, and building our presence as the leading voice of the Canadian seed industry. Among our key accomplishments in 2025-26:

  • Advancing seed regulatory modernization
  • Supporting stronger Plant Breeders’ Rights protections
  • Launching the Seed Tip Line to help protect intellectual property
  • Publishing the Guide to Sustainable Seed
  • Expanding educational and professional development opportunities for our members

Through industry engagement, government relations activities, and a successful Annual Conference in Québec City, Seeds Canada continued to drive meaningful outcomes for members while positioning the organization for future success.

We are proud to present this review of all we accomplished over the past year. We thank our Board of Directors, members, clients, partners and staff for their dedication and commitment to advancing our organization and supporting a strong, innovative, and resilient seed sector in Canada.
